States of Travel was founded by Dagiana Mercia, a trailblazer in the travel industry with a profound passion for adventure and luxury experiences. Dagiana's journey is woven with the threads of a diverse multicultural background. Having grown up in Venezuela, she embarked on a global exploration in 2013, living in various European countries before finding her home in Miami. Her personal quest for adventure has taken her to exotic destinations such as the enchanting landscapes of Iceland. Additionally, as an avid cruiser, Dagiana has explored the world's seas, including the rugged beauty of Svalbard in search for polar bears, the otherworldly Galapagos Islands in the look for blue-footed boobies, all the way to the western and southern Caribbean in pursuit of the best piña coladas. This rich tapestry of experiences, coupled with her deep-rooted expertise, forms the foundation of States of Travel, a platform committed to curating exceptional travel experiences for the discerning explorer.
